Intermediate Accepting PG-13 The Music Industry (OOC) { STILL IN NEED OF MORE PEOPLE }

The Author Of Hope
Here I will extensively write to make sure everyone understands the point of this RP and to make sure rules are set in stone.
Let us start with a little lore-

First off, this is set in the 1970s/80s. This is when smoking was allowed everywhere you went and being gay was a huge thing to many people. Now, there will be challenges everyone faces, getting a good start in the industry, being able to stay popular and loved, but also... to keep secrets in your own mouth. Bands break up and fight, people realize who they are, and sometimes people even die. But only you can decide how your young artist does in the music industry. This also takes place in the United States, mostly around the big apple, New York City.

RULES:
- At least 3 sentences per post, no one-liners! We need the nitty-gritty details!!
- No god-modding/power play
- ALWAYS ASK FOR PERMISSION TO ATTACK/KILL ANOTHER PLAYER (I don't even see why you would do that in this one but it happens a lot so)
- Make sure your instrument level/years of experience is verified with me and/or other people who are working with me
- NO SRP/EROTICA (Keep it in the DM's people!)
- Have fun!

Now the *drum roll* Character sheet!

Background
Early Years: Bay grew up in a family that didn't really have much. Food was hard to come by and everyday was a struggle. This drove Bay into a depression during her teenage years. Her father cared deeply for her and wanted to help make her feel better. He realized that she only felt better around some form of art. He tried getting her to draw, sing, and dance, but she wasn't all that happy. He noticed that she would light up whenever she was in his tattoo shop. At the age of 13, Bay and her father made a deal that whenever she felt extremely down, he would give her a tattoo. Her father would give her really small tattoos, but as she got older, he decided that it was okay to make them bigger.
Most Traumatic Childhood Experience: Seeing her dad get robbed and break his hand (still functioning).
Formative Years: Bay's father didn't want her to have a job because he wanted her to focus on school. Bay wanted to help her dad, so every afternoon, she would go to one of the busiest places in her city and she would perform songs for a few dollars. As cliche as it sounds, one day someone in the music industry was watching her perform and they told her that they liked her sound. They said that they'd like to see where her voice could take her and that's how she ended up becoming a singer and underrated dancer.
